Abstract

This study aims to examine organisational innovation (OI) as a mediator in the relationship between knowledge management (KM) practices and organisational performance (OP). The researcher has applied Partial Least Squares and Structural Equation Modelling techniques in this study. A few Knowledge Management practices and their effects on Organisational Performance were considered. In addition to direct effects, the study empirically examines OI as a mediator in the KM-OP relationship. The objective of this study is to emphasise the impact of Knowledge Management practices on Organisational Performance, with Organisational Innovation as a mediator. This study finds that Knowledge Management is more effective for Organisational Performance when mediated by Organisational Innovation among Information Technology employees. This study also finds various perceptions shared among IT employees regarding performance.
