Abstract
The evolution of digital technologies has significantly transformed the landscape of literary creation and consumption. Digital storytelling, as an emerging interdisciplinary practice, integrates text, audio, visuals and interactive media to produce immersive narrative experiences. This paper explores how digital storytelling reshapes literary aesthetics in English literature by expanding narrative structures, redefining authorship and enhancing reader engagement. It critically examines the convergence of literature with multimedia art forms such as film, animation, hypertext and virtual environments. The study highlights how digital platforms challenge traditional literary conventions while offering new aesthetic possibilities, including non-linear narratives, participatory storytelling and multimodal expression. Ultimately, the paper argues that digital storytelling represents a paradigm shift in literary studies, reimagining the role of literature in the digital age.
