Factors affecting the economic efficiency of businesses private sector in agriculture: From the practical experience of Hanoi City

Abstract

Abstract: Private enterprises are playing an increasingly important role in agricultural development, but the economic efficiency of this sector still varies significantly. This study analyzes the factors affecting the economic efficiency of private enterprises in agriculture from the perspective of Hanoi City. The research results show that the economic efficiency of enterprises is simultaneously affected by internal and external environmental factors. Among these, management capacity and human resource quality play a decisive role, followed by the level of application of science and technology and the ability to connect with markets. Factors related to access to finance and the institutional environment also have a positive impact, but their influence is limited. Based on these findings, the study emphasizes the need for a holistic approach to improving the economic efficiency of private enterprises in agriculture, while providing scientific arguments for policy planning to develop this sector in an efficient and sustainable manner.
