Abstract

Community organization within social work education. A descriptive analytical design was employed using a structured questionnaire administered to faculty members specializing in community organization. The instrument measured three dimensions: problem utilization, guidance of solution development, and student participation in evaluating solutions. Findings indicate that faculty members partially apply PBL practices, particularly in encouraging solution generation and critical thinking. However, several core components of PBL implementation remain weak, including structured student grouping, systematic guidance in data collection, and the use of realistic learning scenarios. The results suggest that PBL is practiced in an unsystematic manner that lacks full adherence to its methodological foundations. The study recommends structured faculty training, curriculum redesign based on problem-centered learning, and institutional adoption of PBL frameworks to enhance professional competence in community organization education..
