Poetry between the words, eather the unity of the beginning or the end (David Hovhannes's collection of "New Chronicle")

Abstract

This study is dedicated to the examination of the work of the Armenian poet Davit Hovhannes, as well as to the questions of the development of Armenian poetry in general and to what extent the development of new poetry was conditioned by the movements taking place in public life.

Therefore, we leave aside from our criticism non-literary interpretations of the imagination, because in them the researchers focus not on complete works, but on isolated verses from the context, which cannot provide the content of the whole.

That is why in the Armenian poetry of the beginning of the 21st century, we have few opportunities to talk about such a novelty, which strives for completeness and pretends to be interpreted as a unified poetic system. In general, such a starting point presupposes that the "object" of interpretation be meaningful, and at the very least, uniquely self-sufficient. David Hovhannes's latest book, ''New Chronicle'', is endowed with this possibility of interpretation.
