Abstract

Suicide cases in Bali will be the highest in Indonesia by 2023. Balinese society is known as a predominantly Hindu population, steeped in expressive ritual practices that reflect devotion to religious culture. This phenomenon is not accompanied by a high level of awareness in strengthening character and self-identity as pillars of mental health, resulting in suicide as one of the resulting impacts. Therefore, efforts are needed to strengthen character and self-identity among those vulnerable to suicide through community service activities. This community service program aims to strengthen character and self-identity in the digital era to prevent the risk of suicide through (1) training and workshops, and (2) community activities based on religious culture. The results of these activities have an impact on participants, as indicated by their understanding of the material related to strengthening character and self-identity.
