Abstract

The weakness of a religious organization is undoubtedly caused by various factors. Therefore, this study will examine the effect of mindfulness on organizational commitment in the Indonesian Buddhayana Council (Majelis Buddhayana Indonesia). The research method used in this study is associative research. The population in this study were members of the Indonesian Buddhayana Council in North Sumatra Province. There were 220 samples. The data in this study consisted of secondary and primary data. The data analysis method used was structural equation modeling-partial least squares (SEM-PLS) using SmartPLS software. The results of the study indicate that mindfulness has a positive effect on organizational trust. Furthermore, the study also shows that mindfulness has a positive effect on organizational commitment. Likewise, organizational trust has a positive effect on organizational commitment. Finally, mindfulness has an effect on organizational commitment mediated by organizational commitment..
