Abstract

This study examines the exploration between Civic Education (Civics Education) and the development of employability skills, entrepreneurship, and civic entrepreneurship in SMK students. Using descriptive qualitative method, the study involved 60 students from SMKN 1 and SMKN 15 Bandung through purposive sampling technique. The results show that Civics contributes significantly in shaping employability skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, and professional ethics. In addition, Civics also fosters students' entrepreneurial spirit through the development of creativity, independence, and risk-taking courage. Another important finding is that Civics encourages the growth of civic entrepreneurship-social entrepreneurship that is oriented towards solving community problems and building community values. This research confirms that Civics has a strategic role in shaping young people who are competent, competitive, and have high social care. These results are expected to be the basis for the development of Civics learning in SMK which is more contextual and responsive to the challenges of the times.
