The objectives of Islamic legislation in the rulings concerning foundlings
Main Article Content
Abstract
In this research, I addressed the partial objectives of Kamal Ibn al-Humam, which he stated in his book Fath al-Qadir in the chapter on foundlings. I divided this research into an introduction and two sections. The first section includes two requirements: the first requirement is preserving life, and the second requirement is providing for the foundling. The second section includes two requirements: the first requirement is the freedom of the foundling, and the second requirement is preserving the religion of the foundling. These issues were studied and arranged in three stages: documenting Ibn al-Humam’s words, then studying the issue, and finally concluding with a summary of the issue. I then concluded the research with a conclusion that includes the most important results I reached, and I mentioned the most important sources and references that I relied on in this research.
