AI AND DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY IN POSTGRADUATE EDUCATION: QUALITY IMPROVEMENT AND ECONOMIC IMPLICATIONS

Abstract

Artificial intelligence and digital technology now reshape postgraduate education across the world. This study measures how these tools affect education quality and economic outcomes for graduate students. A survey collected responses from 91 postgraduate students. The instrument captured awareness usage and ten quantitative constructs on a ten point scale. Descriptive statistics correlation analysis and multiple regression were applied. The internet was the leading information source at 81.3 percent. Digital platform use scored highest among all constructs at 7.34. Artificial intelligence usage frequency and digital platform use together explained 61.3 percent of variance in perceived quality improvement. Perceived quality improvement was the strongest predictor of economic benefit and explained 77.0 percent of its variance. Students with high usage reported quality scores of 8.05 against 5.32 for low usage students. All ten constructs achieved high internal reliability above 0.93. The findings confirm that disciplined artificial intelligence adoption raises both academic quality and economic value in postgraduate study.
