FROM TRANSITION TO TRANSFORMATION: CULTIVATING HUMAN-CENTERED CULTURE IN THE ERA OF HYBRID WORK AND DEI
Main Article Content
Abstract
This chapter examines the role of human-centered and technology-enabled practices in fostering Belonging & Inclusive Climate (BIC) within hybrid workplaces. Drawing on a six-factor model comprising Personalized Employee Experience (PEE), Upskilling & Lifelong Learning (ULL), Well-Being Support (WBS), Inclusive Leadership & Psychological Safety (ILPS), and Enabling Technology & Equitable Collaboration (ETCE), the chapter employs Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to validate hypothesized relationships. Survey data from 310 respondents demonstrate that all five independent constructs significantly influence BIC, with human-centric factors—such as personalized experience, leadership, and well-being—emerging as stronger predictors than technological enablers. The findings contribute to organizational and theoretical understanding by highlighting the importance of balancing people-driven strategies with digital equity. Managerial, theoretical, and practical implications are discussed, along with avenues for future research across cultural and industrial contexts.
