Abstract

The human soul is naturally inclined to reveal some of its hidden qualities at times, and to conceal them at other times. Based on these two patterns, the religious texts from the Holy Qur’an and the Prophetic Sunnah came to clarify some of the hidden qualities that a person does not wish to reveal for several reasons, out of fear of their effects, dimensions, and consequences.

The Almighty, may His glory be exalted, has clarified in more than one place the patterns of hidden traits of some people, both negative and positive, which came in multiple forms and on various occasions, and for situations that occurred to the prophets of God, peace be upon them - and to the enemies of God - and to others. Thus, the clarification has drawn a path for researchers in deriving rulings and indications from them, and in clarifying their doctrinal, social, psychological and security dimensions.

Based on our belief in the methodology of the Holy Qur’an and the Prophet’s Sunnah in establishing concepts and values in the life of the individual and society on the one hand, and the benefit of those concepts in the practical aspect of people’s lives on the other hand, this title came to explain the patterns of negative latents,  and the effects and results that result from them.
